INVESTMENT COMPANY
The presidential decree of September 7 approved an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on the establishment of a Tajik-Uzbek investment company. The agreement was signed during the official visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Dushanbe in June 2021.
The company was established in the form of an LLC with an initial authorized capital of $12 million with a gradual increase to $50 million. The share of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan in the formation of its authorized capital is 75%, the share of SUE Tajinvest is 25%.
The investment company is engaged in financing joint projects in Tajikistan. The main types of its work are investment through the purchase of shares in existing and new enterprises, the search for and attraction of foreign and domestic investors, the allocation of funds to banks in Tajikistan on a commercial basis, and others.
